As a Chinese, I thinkthe answer is totally YES. China may be described as a dangerous place in thewestern countries. I can't and don't want to deny that this country is sorestricted in politics related issues. Just image that, we can't even visit facebook,google in China . There is a fucking Great Firewall on the internet. Butstill, I have to say, China is 100% safe for tourists, we don't have gun shotshere, we don't have racists carrying a AK47. We can go outside in midnightwithout the worry of mugging . Besides, China is such a large country with somany beautiful places here. So just come and see the real life in China ,don'tbe afraid.
Just remember that,we are all brainwashed by some degrees, find the truth with your own eyes.Those are the facts which can't be forged.

只是要记住，你我在不同程度上其实都是被“洗脑”了的，所以用你自己的眼睛来寻找真相吧。总有些真相是伪造不得的。

Yes China is safe fortourists. There is no more danger to you here than in another European or NorthAmerican area and possibly much less danger than many. There are the usualscams and pick pockets in cities but no more or less than anywhere else in thedeveloped world. You can come to China, have a good time, meet the localpeople, eat some good food, drink some beer, see the sights and return homewith only the normal level of caution such that you would use in any otherlocation.是的中国对游客很安全。反正你在中国这儿遇到的危险不可能比你在欧洲或者北美等地遇到的多，可能中国的危险比其中大部分还要少得多。在城市里通常会有些诈骗和扒手，不过这数量和发达地区的也差不离了。你可以来中国，享受一下旅行时光，和当地人接触一下，吃吃美食，喝喝酒，看看当地风光然后回家，期间不用多加小心什么的，只要像去其他地方一样就好了。
