JeffAshe • 19 days agoSo, type 1130, by all accounts has 11 barrels that fire 30mm rounds at a decent clip (around 10k/minute). It"s therefore reasonable to assume it"s effective against supersonic sea skimming AShMs. Perhaps the 90% claimed kill rate is against such missiles as the Russian SS-N-26 Strobile.
It"d be sensible for the USN to look into having a similar system.
